Our Team

The team deals with a wide range of Real Estate transactions, including investment, commercial leases and development projects in both the commercial and residential sectors. 

What we’ve been doing recently:

  • Acting for a group of landowners in relation to site in Hampshire promoted for mixed use development with over 400 housing units involving creation of LLP as vehicle for joint ownership and advice on all planning matters.  Negotiated and completed land promotion agreement with promoter.  Site sold for over £20m to a national housebuilder
  • Disposal of city centre building in Birmingham held on a long lease for development as an apart/hotel
  • Acting for Store Property Group on investment sales and purchases, portfolio management and development projects
  • Acting for promoter on promotion agreement, planning and related issues relating to large housing site in Harrogate which has received planning permission for 450 units.
  • Acting for south coast Property Company in relation to a mixed use scheme involving 585 units, business park and other commercial uses.  Work includes the sale of first three phases to a national housebuilder for approximately £30m and subsequent phases to a second housebuilder.  Now selling care home site and site for PRS scheme
  • Acting for Chichester College Group on several disposals of development sites on their Brinsbury campus
  • Acting for several landowner collaborations on promotion of development sites
  • Acting for a number of retailers in relation to their property portfolio
  • Acting for regional property company on joint venture deals  including the development of sites within marinas
Your Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing national team. You’ll have the chance to work closely with partners and be involved in high-profile commercial deals right from the start, working with well- established clients. Given the nature of the role, you will be highly organised and be able to work pragmatically.  You will be involved in a broad spectrum of real estate work allowing you to experience all types of transaction with a view to greater specialisation in the areas you find most rewarding later in your career.

The role will involve working on your own case load with support where required from partners but also working as part of a team for larger projects.  You will join our support team for several key clients.   You will gain experience of working with a wide variety of clients including property developers and investors and also landowners, Colleges, retailers and charities.

You’ll work to participate in relevant practice development initiatives, seek to get involved with business development opportunities and keep up to date with changes in relevant law and practice. To drive best practice further, you will be an exceptional team player with the ability to work collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and to develop other team members.
