We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join our Serious Injury team in the Cambridge office.

Irwin Mitchell is one of the few firms to offer a rare opportunity to specialise in this high profile, and deeply rewarding area of personal injury law. Ideally, candidates will have Claimant multi track serious / catastrophic injury related experience. Experience working on high value and complex cases involving brain injury, head injury and spinal cord injury is essential.

As a Solicitor in the team, you will lead the investigation and litigation in a range of Serious Injury cases, working as part of a team to maximise client damages and optimise costs recover. You will also assist in developing external relationships to provide an exceptional client experience and generate new cases.

The personal injury teams at Irwin Mitchell don’t just deal with compensation claims, we also work with our clients and their families to ensure all of their rehabilitation needs are met. It’s a unique, bespoke approach that really makes a difference to people whose lives have been turned upside down by injury.

To be successful in this role you must;

  • Have around 0-5 years Personal Injury litigation experience, ideally in Serious Injury cases.
  • Have a strong appetite for business development, able to build successful relationships with medical professionals.
  • Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition.
