Legal Secretary (0674)

The Role

Working as a Legal Secretary in this established and innovative team, you will work closely with partners and fee earners, providing them with a comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative service.

As our client care is extremely important to us, you’ll demonstrate an ability to communicate with clients face-to-face and over the telephone; assisting with queries and arranging appointments to see fee-earners. You’ll also have responsibility for arranging meetings, conferences and client interviews ensuring that fee-earners’ diaries are up-to-date whilst also supporting the team with general administrative tasks.   

Given the nature of the role, you’ll thrive in a busy environment and will need to be able handle a varied workload, therefore it is essential that you have excellent organisational skills and are capable of using your own initiative. The work you produce must be of the highest calibre so you’ll have demonstrable experience of working accurately and efficiently, word processing all legal correspondence including Court proceedings, minutes and seminar notes.

It is essential that you have experience in a similar role however experience within a Family team isn’t essential but would be very advantageous. You’ll use this experience to hit the ground running; working collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes, ensure best practice and always provide the best service to our clients.

You'll need to be able to strike the balance between working quickly and efficiently but also remembering the client is at the heart of everything you do. If you are caring and ambitious, driven and compassionate, we'd love to hear from you.
