Working as a Knowledge Management Resources Specialist either based remotely or in any of the Irwin Mitchell offices, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the purchase and management of key information and knowledge resources across Irwin Mitchell, supporting the Resources Manager. This includes legal and business research databases and other digital and hard copy resources.
You’ll be working closely with the Knowledge Management Assistant, overseeing all resource administration. You will also help the Resources Manager develop insightful usage reports and analysis to help inform decisions around purchasing, training and communications, with the aim of ensuring that these resources deliver best value for the business. You’ll take ownership of the Knowledge Management suppliers, develop positive partnerships, and reflect the best interests of the business in everything you do
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, it’s essential that you have strong organisational skills and are able to meet tight deadlines, whilst striving to meet and exceed expectations and requirements of your clients. You’ll be a natural leader and will have the ability to work well with stakeholders, and also articulate opinions objectively and effectively. You’ll have experience of key legal, business and knowledge databases, be educated to degree level in information management or a similar field, and ideally hold some experience of working as part of a project team.
