Your Role

As the Tribe Product Lead, you’ll have overall accountability for ensuring the Tribe delivers the solution that meets the customer, market and business demand. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify the customer need and develop the Tribes annual objectives. Given the nature of the role, you’ll manage the Squads’ Product Owners and coach them in agile ways of working and mind-set, whilst also supporting the Tribe Delivery Manager and Tribe Solution Lead in delivering value through the continuous delivery pipeline.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Accountability for delivering strategic business outcomes and product visions through the Tribe.
  • Owning the strategic outcomes and identifies features that are required to deliver these outcomes.
  • Growing, leading and motivating high performing cross functional squads.
  • Owning and prioritising the Tribe product backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders and squad Product Owners.
  • Managing the Tribe roadmap aligned to business outcomes and adapts accordingly.
  • Supporting Product Owners on their relationship building with stakeholders and the iterative nature of their engagements.
  • Providing additional guidance to the Tribe in definition of Epics and User Stories maintaining link to Features and strategic business outcomes.
  • Defining of MVP/product iterations for the Tribe working with business sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the creation of ‘Definition of Done’ ensuring Tribe deliveries contribute to strategic business outcomes.
  • Owning scope and business-related risks/issues and plans mitigation action at the Tribe level and provide input to Quarterly Tribe Alignment, Monthly Tribe Planning and Sprint Planning.
  • Collaborating with the Tribe Solution Lead and Delivery Lead to build the required functionality and ensure high quality and consistent product releases.
  • Having accountability for the enterprise level Product backlog and roadmap alignment for feature releases.
  • Building seamless end to end experiences for our clients, delivering value in an iterative way with a test and learn mind-set.
What We're Looking For
  • Recognised Agile certification such as Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent.
  • Holds a recognised scaled agile certification such as LeSS, SAFe or equivalent.
  • Experience of implementing case management applications, D365, Azure, Sitecore and customer portals.
  • Previous experience of working as a Product Owner, or in an agile set up where a Product Owner has been present and has gained on the job experience.
  • A natural leader, with wide experience of managing diverse stakeholders and bringing people together around products and changes.
  • An articulate communicator, able to explain complex topics to colleagues.
  • Ability to build and manage positive relationships both within the CIO team, and across other functions.
