System Billing Team Leader (1732)

Your Role

As a System Billing Team Leader, you’ll be a senior member of the Billing team. You will supervise the activities of the team to ensure excellent service is provided to the Group and that all invoices are processed in line with SRA Accounts Rules, firm’s policy and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Your role will also require you to resolve or escalate any queries across system billing activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervise the team and supervise performance to ensure that the following tasks and team resource  are managed to meet SLA's, internal policies and procedures
  • Review bill requests for accuracy & liaise with file handlers with queries/concerns
  • Carry out final instructions, allocate an invoice number & process bill to firm's finance system
  • Provide help & advice on billing procedures in a timely manner
  • Deal with credit notes & any queries regarding these within service level agreement
  • Review & process weekly & monthly billing reports along with any other ad hoc invoices
  • Assist all other areas of billing where necessary
  • Query handling and liaison with internal clients, to ensure resolution or escalation
  • Performance and Absence Management for the Billing Team to maintain adequate resource to meet business needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of supervising or managing a team
  • General accounting or book keeping experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in your work
  • Demonstrable customer focussed attention to service delivery
  • Must be able to work within a flexible and fast moving environment
