Our clinical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims arising from obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac and psychiatric care.
Our solicitors have years of experience making a variety of medical negligence cases including but not limited to:
- Accident & Emergency claims
- Cancer claims
- Cerebral Palsy claims

Your Role
You’ll provide quality legal advice to the firm’s clients by appropriate supervision and training and managing your very own caseload from the offset. Your aim will be to obtain interim payments wherever possible, so that we can put rehabilitation, a care package and suitable accommodation in place before the claim is concluded. As a team, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our clients.
We currently have two roles available. One joining Partner Lauren Hurney’s team, who predominately acts for clients that have sustained brain damage or spinal injuries, either as a result of medical negligence or personal injury. Lauren also deals with a number of cases involving obstetrics and gynaecological issues, delay in diagnosis, and negligent surgical treatment..

Our second role is working with Partner Richard Kayser and Senior Associate Louise Forsyth, who represents people and their families who have suffered injury, particularly major spinal cord injury and brain damage, due to medical accident or substandard treatment.

- Take instructions from clients and give legal advice.
- Opportunity to manage own caseload, while also assisting the Partners and senior team members on High Value cases.
- Review cases and other relevant matters with supervisor to ensure quality legal advice is provided
