Solicitor/Associate Solicitor (Construction) (1251)

Our Team

The team are known for their work in the Real Estate sector, specifically working on construction and engineering projects, as well as advising on procurement law.

Some of the things we’ve been doing recently:

  • Substantial investment portfolio holders – advising on cladding remediation projects and associated funding documents for Government remediation fund;
  • Private Developer – preparing full suite of construction documents for an office development with retail and leisure in Sheffield;
  • Private Developer – advising on forward-funded deal for distribution warehouses in the south-east
  • for several well-known brands in the food sector;
  • Major M&E contractor acting in the adjudication of disputes relating to a transport sector project in the south-west;
  • Well-known private developer – acting in the adjudication of disputes arising from a super-prime development in London

Your Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing national team. You’ll have the chance to work closely with partners and be involved in high-profile commercial developments right from the start, working on projects all across the country. Whilst it would be great if you have experience of both contentious and non-contentious work, we’d be happy to consider those with just non-contentious experience. Equally, we’re keen to accommodate what’s best for you, so we can be flexible on location and are open to discussions about remote working.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Ideally 4-5 years PQE (but there is scope to look outside of this)
  • Experience of non-contentious development work (contentious experience in addition would be an advantage)
  • An ability to work on own initiative but also as a supportive team player, working as part of a national Construction team
  • The confidence to hit the ground running
