A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Gatwick office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell for a Solicitor/Associate to assist with the growth and development of our Restructuring and Insolvency team.
Our Restructuring & Insolvency team in Gatwick has undergone significant change over the last two years and is growing rapidly. It is one of the major players in the South East outside of London and the team is regularly involved in complex and high profile matters.
The team comprises dedicated restructuring & insolvency lawyers who handle the whole spectrum of work related to financially distressed businesses and individuals. Due to a significant growth in restructuring and transactional assignments, we are looking for a non-contentious restructuring & insolvency lawyer to support the senior members of the team with both distressed and solvent restructuring matters.
To be considered for this exciting new role, you will have a strong track record at a reputable City or regional practice. You do not need to have qualified into a restructuring & insolvency team (although that would be a bonus), but you must be familiar with corporate and banking documents and be able to demonstrate ambition, energy and enthusiasm for this area of the law. You will also be expected to actively engage in business development and marketing activities and so confidence and good personal skills are essential.
