We’re looking for a motivated Senior Supplier Manager to join our growing and exciting IT Vendor Team in Sheffield. You’ll be overlooking the overarching IT supplier strategy, ensuring that the business achieves best value and minimises risk from its suppliers. You’ll be supporting complex projects and have the communication skills to represent Irwin Mitchell externally and internally with stakeholders at all levels.
As you’ll hold full responsibility of a number of Critical IT and Strategic Suppliers with a multimillion pound budget, you must hold previous experience in a supplier management background, as you’ll need to confidently support and manage complex projects whilst understanding any potential risk. Given the nature of the role, it’s essential that you’ll have a strong background working in a highly regulated Banking or Financial Services environment, such as SRA, FSA or Public Sector.
You’ll report into the Head of Service Delivery, but your role will require you to own and have full responsibility of the IT budgeting, multi-year forecasting and IT financials, whilst ensuring these adhere to five year budgetary plans. You’ll use your experience in managing third party contacts to identify cost save opportunities, and be open to change and support the procurement of new services, and assist the wider business with its transformation plans.
You’ll naturally be a good communicator, and be able to deliver information with impact to your stakeholders. You’ll have the confidence to challenge ideas in a constructive way, and always have the best interests of the Group in your decision making.
If you have the above skills and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
In addition to your basic salary we have a competitive benefits package including pension, critical illness cover, health cash plan, death in service, discounted legal services, 25 days hols (this increases with length of service), discounted online shopping, discounted gym memberships and season ticket loans.
As part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s on-boarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process. This process helps to ensure that all new employees meet our standards in relation to honesty and integrity therefore protecting the interests of the Group, existing employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
The background checks made will establish your eligibility to work in the UK, and criminal record check and financial checks with a credit reference agency will also be undertaken.
The employment screening process will fully comply with Data Protection and other applicable laws.
Irwin Mitchell LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
