As a Senior Resilience Manager, you will work directly with the Head of Risk, Resilience, and Internal Audit to lead and manage Irwin Mitchell's resilience strategy. Your role will involve implementing a robust, outcome-focused resilience framework, overseeing an efficient incident response program, and ensuring a comprehensive business continuity program that aligns with Irwin Mitchell's strategic goals.
This role will work collaboratively will all areas of IM and including areas regulated by the SRA and FCA.
Availability outside of office hours will occasionally be required to support the successful resolution incidents.
• Lead the development and management of Irwin Mitchell's Resilience Framework and business continuity program.
• Implement mapping of critical services and resources and refine resilience controls and metrics.
• Govern the identification, classification, and remediation of vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with risk appetites.
• Conduct testing programs for critical services to ensure recovery plans prevent breaches of impact tolerance.
• Develop and manage a repository of workarounds and playbooks.
• Manage incident response processes, including out-of-hours support, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor industry changes and mentor team members to enhance resilience capabilities.
• Build strong relationships across the firm, particularly with IT, to improve disaster recovery strategies.
• Represent Irwin Mitchell in external committees and provide expert advice on resilience requirements.
- Strong experience in leading resilience teams and embedding a robust business continuity and incident response programme with focus on protecting essential outcomes
- Collaborative personality that leads change and brings people together
- Stakeholder management skills
- Qualification in Business Continuity Management (e.g. CBCI) or equivalent (desirable)
