Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer (5302)

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

You'll join a team heading up by James Burgess, an award-winning product leader with a wealth of experience in leading complex business transformation programmes and product development.

As a senior D365 engineer you will own, develop, and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap from an engineering perspective for your allocated product team. You will prioritise, communicate and review progress with CIO teams and stakeholder and will also guide how the development team works, decide when code should be written, provide technical leadership and adoption of good practice.

In addition to the above you design complex custom solutions that meet the unique needs of Irwin Mitchell. You will plan and lead development for multiple sets of user stories within a product team and mentor other engineers on the team, providing guidance and support as needed. You would also be responsible for maintaining the development standards and best practices for D365 and ensuring that configuration, customisations and code is well-documented and adheres to quality assurance standard.

About You

We're looking for an experienced D365 engineer who has a deep understanding of the technical architecture of D365. Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, also able to engage, steer and articulate/break down technical terminology for a non-technical audience 
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert – PL600, Microsoft, Power Platform Fundamentals – PL900 & D365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate – MB230
  • Demonstrable experience of architecting highly complex multi solution and multi environment D365 implementations in line with industry best practice and developing D365 plugins, custom actions, workflow activities using C#
  • Demonstrable experience of application support for Dynamics 365, other Microsoft Business tools and bespoke applications, managing, documenting, and escalating incidents as required to the correct resolver group
  • Demonstrable experience with D365 Customer service configuration & customization including Entities, Relationships, Business Rules, Complex Workflow Activities, Actions, Workflows, Business Process Flows, C# Plugin, Development, Client-Side programming with JavaScript, Ribbon Customizations, Azure integrations, Power Automate Flows, Power Platform Model Driven & Canvas Apps, XRMToolBox, PowerF
