Senior Business Analyst (0115)

The Role

Working as a Senior Business Analyst, your role will be two-fold. Firstly, you will be tasked with taking ownership and responsibility for requirements management, understanding business function capabilities, constructing business process models and contributing to the Firm’s operational and strategic goals.  Secondly, you will work to provide leadership to team members and support by way of coaching and mentoring.

To be successful in the role, you will be an exceptional communicator serving as a key point of contact for the business. You’ll have the confidence to lead requirement workshops on Business IT programmes as well as using your experience to act in an advisory capacity on the process and practice for conducting Business Analysis activities. You’ll actively engage with the business to analyse information needs and requirements and work collaboratively to deliver quality analysis and design documentation.

A key part of your role will be to work with your team to ensure that they fully realise and achieve their potential as well as promoting continuous improvement and best practice through role modelling behaviours and leading by example. You will be able to resolve conflicts effectively, motivate others and also take time to share your knowledge with your colleagues.

You will come from a Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis background and have experience of coordinating and mentoring team members as well as ideally, having previous exposure to the legal industry. You’ll be resilient and able to work under pressure, reacting pragmatically to changing demands whilst remaining calm and rational.
