Senior Bid Executive (1779)

Your Role



The Senior Bid Executive will co-ordinate activities with the Bid Manager in delivering the Group’s new business tenders, bids and pitches programme to support business growth and ensure outcomes are delivered to achieve business and strategic goals


  • To support the wider Business Development and Legal teams in drafting high quality bid/tender and pitch responses which are tailored to client requirements.
  • To be proactive and identify tender opportunities the Group should progress/reject based on strategic and business objectives
  • Effectively interact with other business functions in the Group such as Finance, knowledge services, HR and IT to ensure that all bid/pitches and tenders initiatives are executed appropriately e.g. pricing
  • To assist in formal review and feedback on both successful and unsuccessful tenders – which supports improvements on our approach and processes to increase success rate
  • To work collaboratively with the Business Development Team to implement and execute the bids/tenders and pitches programme to maximise opportunities and outcomes for the Group
  • Have an understanding of the businesses’ services and products to be able to gather appropriate teams and services to support any bids/tenders
  • Develop and manage bank of content and responses, including management of the pick and mix proposal and presentation systems
  • To ensure that any submissions or documents produced are aligned with brand guidelines
  • Provide regular management information relating to success and unsuccessful outcomes for all submissions
  • Share best practice knowledge, ideas and details of activities amongst other Group Sales and Marketing Department team members
  •  Effectively manage internal working relationships across the company
