Irwin Mitchell’s national corporate team has an established and well respected presence in South East England led from its Gatwick office.
The team is headed by partners Daniel Bastide and Faye Bargery who are supported by 6 others with further recruitment planned for 2020.
The national corporate team consists of approximately 45 fee earners across 7 offices, and operates as a single national team, with opportunities for cross office working.
The team undertakes a mix of corporate work, focussing on private company M&A in the mid-market, private equity and public markets and was ranked by Experian as the South East’s most active legal M&A advisers in 2018.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our successful team. You’ll be commercially minded and you’ll also have the confidence to work autonomously, taking the lead on matters from the very beginning and liaising with specialist colleagues across the firm..
Working as an Associate or Senior Associate within the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting caseload with a strong corporate focus. Working as part of the team, you will have excellent partner access and have the opportunity to work for many notable clients. Your role will involve dealing with the full range of M&A, corporate finance, private equity and transactional work. Your role will also involve you in supervising more junior team members and helping with their development.
Members of the Gatwick corporate team are actively involved in a number of the firm’s sector groups including manufacturing, consumer and technology. A high proportion of our work has an international element.
