Job description

Reward Analyst (1842)

We’re a national law firm with a local reach. Our philosophy is ‘Expert Hand, Human Touch’ – something you’ll find in the way we work with our clients and how we support our teams. But, we’re more than just a law firm – we’re a team, working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs.

Whichever team you join, working here you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment. We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things, and make a real difference to our clients and communities.

The work we do has been recognised in the awards we’ve won. We’re committed to being even better, and our awards help to show we’re on the right track.

Your Role

Working as a Reward Analyst, you will sit within the HR team and support the Reward Consultant in the development of the Group’s reward strategy and approach, and in the delivery of the Group’s reward activity.

A large part of your role will be to support on cyclical reward activities such as gender pay reporting, the annual pay review process, and monthly reward data reporting. You will need to have advanced/expert Excel skills that you’ll use to identify, collate, analyse, evaluate and process data.

To ensure that the Irwin Mitchell Group remains a competitive choice of employer, you will be expected to have a good understanding of the reward landscape; maintaining your understanding of legislation and the legal market place as well as working with colleagues to share best practice at all times. You’ll use your experience of completing, analysing and interpreting reward data to support the continuous improvement of the Group’s reward offering.

You must be a strong team player as you’ll work proactively with the Heads of HR, the HRIS Consultant and the People Services team to capture and report on reward and benefit information. You’ll also be an exceptional communicator with the ability to credibly convey complex data and information; reporting on findings as well as providing insight and interpretation across a range of reward issues. You’ll have the confidence to use this information to inform recommendations and to support the development of a long term reward strategy.

Given the nature of the role, you will be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and ideally will have a working knowledge of Willis Towers Watson (or other role evaluation methodologies). If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to join a friendly and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.

What we can offer you
  • 25 days annual leave, with the opportunity to buy additional leave
  • Two fundraising days in a year to give back to the community (fully paid!)
  • Westfield Health membership, offering discounted leisure and travel and refunds on medical services

We also offer a huge number of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace as well as flexible working options to ensure that you are fully supported to work the way that best suits you. Our social responsibility programme is fundamental to who we are. We’re committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish. We have a range of groups to celebrate our people across sexuality, disability, age, gender and culture.
