Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for an experienced individual to support the PLHR team with business improvement and risk‑related activity in line with the Strategic Delivery Plan (SDP). This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality data within our systems, reducing risk across the department, and supporting a consistent approach to compliance.

In this role, you will identify opportunities to improve processes, support risk‑focused projects, and work closely with SIGs, the Risk Lead Partner and the Business Performance Manager. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance with the IM Supervision Policy, reporting to Partners, and carrying out investigative activity as required. You will also help maintain accurate CoP client data and support the continual improvement of processes, systems and operational workflows across PLHR.

Key Responsibilities


• Identifying and implementing process improvements to mitigate risk
• Supporting business improvement and risk‑related projects
• Working with SIGs and SIG Leads on operational risk activity
• Monitoring compliance with the IM Supervision Policy and following up on outstanding file reviews
• Reporting compliance updates to the Partner group
• Completing non-chargeable investigative tasks for SIGs
• Monitoring and reporting on risk prevention data via the PLHR Contact & Compliance App
• Conducting housekeeping tasks within CoP client information to ensure data quality
• Driving continual improvement within processes and systems
• Maintaining strong legal and technical knowledge relevant to PLHR
• Supporting the implementation of regulatory and internal changes
• Assisting the Professional Development Lawyer where needed

About You

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Ability to remain focused and concentrated when completing detailed tasks
• Minimum five years’ experience working in a PLHR practice
• At least three years’ recent experience in a support or administrative function
• Understanding of how professional services operate and the associated regulatory requirements
