Irwin Mitchell is embarking on a group wide business transformational change agenda to ensure the firm achieves its strategic goals of improved client experience and growth, a better working environment for our people, and increased efficiency. Working as Project Manager, your role will be to manage the delivery of these various projects through the complete life cycle.
Using your previous experience of successfully managing the delivery of the projects, you’ll be responsible for all project administration; developing the required Project Initiations Documents, managing various workstreams in the projects as well as setting up and managing the RAID log.
You must be able to successful engage groups of stakeholders, working hard to maintain good working relationships with them at all times. You will be comfortable reporting to these stakeholders on milestones, budgets and deadlines ensuring that all involved are engaged throughout the process and kept up-to-date with any deviations. Working collaboratively as part of a team, you will show strong leadership whilst also working successfully alongside other colleagues to support business readiness and transition activities.
Ideally, you will have experience of large scale business transformational programmes which will enable you to use this knowledge to identify the required resources and skills needed for successful project delivery whilst also using best practice risk management.
You must be PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified or hold an Agile project management qualification. Given the nature of the role, you will be able to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations; anticipating, managing and resolving issues as and when they arrive. You will also have the ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment.
If you are looking to develop your Project Management skills and make a genuine contribution during a period of change and innovation, we would love to hear from you.
In addition to your basic salary we have a competitive benefits package including pension, critical illness cover, health cash plan, death in service, discounted legal services, 25 days hols (this increases with length of service), discounted online shopping, discounted gym memberships and season ticket loans.
As part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s on-boarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process. This process helps to ensure that all new employees meet our standards in relation to honesty and integrity therefore protecting the interests of the Group, existing employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
The background checks made will establish your eligibility to work in the UK, and criminal record check and financial checks with a credit reference agency will also be undertaken.
The employment screening process will fully comply with Data Protection and other applicable laws.
