Your Role

As a team we are looking to bring new propositions to market that really meet the evolving needs of clients in an accessible and relevant way. As Product Manager you will be responsible for the management of the current and new product propositions throughout the product lifecycle for a specific audience.

Immersed in the market, you will be the point of contact for the Strategic Growth Directors and the Business Development team on all the projects currently being worked on for their audience.

You will work closely with the Head of Proposition Development to create compelling business cases to drive the Irwin Mitchell strategic agenda and deliver new and evolved propositions to market. This includes working closely with various teams within the organisation to ensure the business cases are presented with validated customer insight, commercial rigour and a view of the competitive set.

You will monitor ongoing projects and where appropriate you will be included in the project teams/squads in the delivery phase of development to represent the client teams and support the delivery of the projects in line with client needs and expectations.

You will monitor existing product performance on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities for improvement, refinement, improved profitability, increased efficiency, replacement or removal from the portfolio. This role serves to provide day to day support to the Audience stakeholders to delivering their objectives in line with the strategic plan.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing and optimising the portfolio of new and existing products in the audience portfolio through the product lifecycle
  • Leading individual proposition projects and work with the insights, experience and finance/pricing teams to articulate ideas for testing and create compelling business cases.
  • Tracking performance, market feedback, trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for new propositions, improvement or streamlining
  • Where appropriate, leading or participating in the project teams/squads responsible for delivering key audience projects to present the client brief and requirements
  • Providing input for the project prioritisation and ongoing roadmap creation
  • Creating comprehensive briefs for the Change Team to assess delivery time, resource and budget and to handover on approval of business cases
  • Managing and updating the audience specific product roadmap
  • Working closely with the Strategic Growth Directors and Business Development team to ensure information is shared throughout the key areas
  • Working with the Marketing Team and the Business Development Team to design and deliver Go To Market plans and collateral
  • Assisting with development of training and proposition presentations.
