Your Role

Working as a People Data & Systems Analyst, you’ll be supporting the People Technology & Intelligence Consultant in the development, delivery and administration of the People Systems, People Data Governance and the wider People Data Strategy. In this role, you’ll be required to identify, collect and migrate people data from a range of systems and sources and provide visual insight from this data. You’ll also provide support for all technical issues affecting the people systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the People Technology & Intelligence Consultant in the development of a long-term People Data Governance & Technology strategy.
  • Assisting in the delivery and continuous improvement of all People Team cyclical activities, such as the annual review process; role evaluation, gender pay gap reporting, promotions, talent and succession, recruitment etc.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and the legal market place, which might impact systems, data and technology, and present these findings to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Working with the wider business to understand their requirements, designing intuitive and insightful reports and data visualisations, ensuring documentation and knowledge is captured.
  • Building and maintaining relationships across the group, participating in any relevant forums and groups.
  • Ensuring data governance principles are adhered to both within the People team and wider business
  • Providing technical support for all People systems and technologies, supporting the People Systems Co-ordinator in resolving more complex issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong understanding of Data Governance and how it works.
  • Ability to create relevant reports and data visualisations, using the appropriate techniques and technologies.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and query databases to retrieve data.
  • High level of IT literacy and use of Microsoft office packages, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Previous experience of administrating People Systems and Databases.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, working flexibly and prioritising workload in order to meet deadlines.
  • Commercially-focussed and service driven while balancing a genuine desire to enhance the overall colleague experience.
