We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Serious Injury (SI) team in London.
As a Paralegal you will play an integral role in the team, working together with Chani Dhaliwal, Partner and Anna Pask, Legal Director. You will be responsible for ensuring that client queries are dealt with quickly, efficiently and with empathy, taking appropriate actions. You will work independently under supervision and as part of a team to progress cases in accordance with the department’s procedures to meet agreed personal targets.
You’ll liaise regularly with a wide range of clients and medical professionals, in person, over the phone and in writing. Whether arranging meetings, seeking medical reports and chasing information, you’ll need to always show a sensitive and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the team on high value, complex cases including brain, amputation and spinal cord injury cases.
- Managing client queries quickly, efficiently, and with empathy.
- Progressing cases independently under supervision and as part of a team.
- Liaising with clients and medical professionals in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Arranging meetings, instructing experts, reviewing disclosure, preparing witness statements.
This is a busy and fast-paced role, so you’ll need to work quickly and accurately while building strong relationships with your team and our clients. We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A genuine interest and passion to work within serious injury law.
- Previous Paralegal experience (serious injury experience desirable).
- Strong ability to work on your own initiative.
- Empathy and compassion to guide clients through challenging personal circumstances.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A friendly, enthusiastic, and can-do approach.
