Working as an Organisational Development Consultant (ODC), you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, owning core OD products and leading on development initiatives across the Irwin Mitchell group. You’ll be working closely with a team of HR professionals to lead and deliver development solutions, as well as leading a team of Organisational Development Specialists to support our business strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Contributing and supporting the People strategy and priorities• Partnering with senior stakeholders to design and embed effective performance management principles • Collaborating with subject matter experts from across the business to implement OD solutions which support business strategy, drive cultural change and impact performance• Developing core programmes such as Leadership, Agile Mind-set or Sales; this incorporates undertaking needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation• Undertaking systematic and critical needs analysis, reviewing and improving of cyclical organisational development activity, such as, performance review and promotions development solutions• Providing advice and expert guidance on skills and behaviours required using coaching and facilitation to senior leaders across the Irwin Mitchell group • Decide on, and shape, the learning methodology which is appropriate to meet the needs of our business and our people • Presenting updates and knowledge sharing to key stakeholders on the progress and action required to ensure the successful delivery and embedding of organisational development initiatives• Understanding the business model, our strategy and our people capabilities to enable you to fulfil the role of trusted advisor for business stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
• A strong background as an experienced Organisational Development leader, working in a national organisation.• Experience of designing and embedding performance management principles across an organisation• Understanding of how to interpret key people data and insight such as engagement data, 360 feedback, personality profiling and performance information• Previous experience of supporting transformational change activity • Skilled at engaging with a developing partnership with external providers• A highly self-aware professional, with the ability to flex their communication and influencing style to audiences of up to Executive Board level • Highly disciplined and organised, and comfortable working independently in a remote working environment as well as contributing positively to a high performing team • Experience of leading and working within cross divisional project teams
