At Irwin Mitchell we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Technical Developer team.
We are looking for a Microsoft .NET developer to maintain and enhance our Finance and Practice Management System. The platform is used by hundreds of large law firms throughout the world, allowing for extensive customization using VB.NET and C#.
The successful candidate will also participate in integration and development projects with the wider development team as the firm transitions its applications to Azure.
This role will take you through intensive training and mentoring, giving you the skills and qualifications to work within these exciting technologies.
The busy and dynamic role will suit an individual who is tenacious in the development and maintenance of applications, imaginative and innovative in their thinking and pioneering in their contribution to design. You will be a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to finding solutions for potential problems that may arise.
Ideally the successful candidate will already have some experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Agile delivery techniques but the right person with the right motivation is paramount.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working closely with other team members. You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and wanting to progress your career in software development. You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and have the ability to prioritise work, show initiative and deal with changing time scales/workloads. This role would suit a logical thinking, ambitious individual with a professional manner and excellent communication skills.
