We’re looking for a Learning Facilitator to join our Talent team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role plays a key part in designing and delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that support colleague development and align with the firm’s strategic goals.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Learning & Development, Recruitment and Onboarding to deliver core training programmes, welcome new starters, and continuously improve how learning is experienced across the firm.
The Role
As a Learning Facilitator, you’ll design and deliver engaging training sessions for colleagues across Irwin Mitchell. You’ll create inclusive and interactive learning environments, develop high-quality learning content, and use feedback and data to continuously improve our programmes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitation, has a strong eye for detail, and is passionate about creating impactful learning experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering core training courses, including welcome days and other firmwide learning sessions.
- Working closely with Recruitment and Onboarding colleagues to support an effective onboarding experience.
- Creating inclusive, interactive learning environments that encourage participation and knowledge retention.
- Designing, updating and managing learning content on the LMS or HR systems.
- Ensuring learning materials are engaging, accessible, and aligned with business and cultural priorities.
- Supporting the development of learning solutions agreed through virtual squads and wider L&D initiatives.
- Continuously improving onboarding and learning materials using feedback, data insights and external best practice.
- Tracking and reporting on learning activity, usage and effectiveness.
- Providing insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement across L&D.
- Relevant training or learning & development qualifications (such as CIPD) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience delivering training and facilitating learning in a corporate environment.
- Experience designing engaging and inclusive learning content.
- Confidence using learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to facilitate sessions for colleagues across a wide range of roles and levels.

- An analytical mindset, with the ability to assess effectiveness and use data to improve learning outcomes.
