Lead Machine Learning Engineer (12‑month FTC) - 6238 

At Irwin Mitchell, we’re using technology to make a real difference to people’s lives. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ML Engineer to join us at a pivotal moment as we take our machine learning capability into full production.

This is a high‑profile role where you’ll help productionise a flagship ML solution how ML engineering and ML Ops are done across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Productionise existing ML models into live environments
• Design and build scalable ML pipelines using Databricks and Azure
• Implement robust ML Ops processes including deployment and monitoring
• Influence architectural decisions and engineering standards
• Work closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to deliver real business impact

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an ML Engineer at senior level
• Strong engineering background (software or data engineering preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and ML Ops
• Azure DevOps experience
• Confident communicator who can work autonomously and gain stakeholder buy‑in
