Working as a IT Change Analyst, you’ll be responsible for providing the appropriate level of Service Assurance governance by assisting in the management of the day to day operational activities relating to Change Management and overall Governance. You’ll ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected, and any risks are understood and mitigated against. There will also be the opportunity to be involved and assisting the running and reporting on other ITIL Service Management processes such as Release, Asset Management, Incident, Request and Problem Management.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working with the relevant ITIL process Managers to develop ITIL-based processes and procedures and embed across IT.
- Maintaining the centralised forward plans to ensure awareness, visibility and planning of key events.
- Developing and generating KPI reporting for consumption by differing audiences.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with all users of services offered.
- Providing repeatable mechanism to respond to internal and external audit reviews and help and manage create/implement remediation plans where appropriate.
- Ensuring all change/releases to the IM IT estate follow correct process including testing in a pre-production environment.
- Responsible for creation of reporting packs ensuring information is available to be presented in line with timelines.
- Holding reviews to evaluate unsuccessful activities, audit findings and agree any remediation activities.
- Actively driving continuous service improvement in focused area and others.
- Experience of working in an analytical role
- Experience of successfully dealing with all levels of internal stakeholders.
- A good understanding of ITIL processes and Lean methodology.
