Intranet Manager (0521)

The Role

Working as our Intranet Manager, you’ll create a strategic direction for Irwin Mitchell’s (IM) current Intranet, working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, IT and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of IM’s change programme – IM2022.

You’ll have at least five years’ experience of intranet management which you’ll use to develop a proactive and strategic plan to improve user experience and increase adoption of the IM Intranet. You’ll work to introduce a greater consistency across the entire Intranet, proactively managing search functionality and governance, whilst also creating information architecture principles centred on the needs of colleagues. You’ll use data and insight collated from colleagues and through analytics to further enhance the colleague experience as well as ensuring the Intranet supports smart working and IM’s strategic ambitions.

You’ll be an exceptional team player and will be able to work collaboratively with other teams within the business. You’ll work with other teams in our Group Sales and Marketing function to ensure that our colleague experience is consistent, with a single version of truth. We’d like you to have excellent stakeholder management and be creative in your approach. As part of our IM2022 change programme: you’ll lead on extending the use of collaboration and social capability. This will include working to influence, design and deliver improvements to how colleagues access, contribute to and share information through our Smart Working initiative.
