Information Security Analyst - 12 Month FTC (5617)

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

As an Information Security Analyst, you’ll play a vital part in safeguarding our reputation, data, and finances. Working as part of our CIO department but collaborating across the business, you’ll help embed a secure culture across the organisation.

Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Championing security awareness across the organisation — from inbox enquiries to phishing simulations and training.
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance activities including audits, ISO27001 control testing, and supplier assessments.
  • Monitor and enforce security policies, conducting assurance checks to evaluate control effectiveness.
  • Provide expert security consultancy to project teams and research emerging threats and technologies.
  • Respond to security incidents and help shape our security standards and practices.

 

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, is a great communicator, ready to make a difference through collaboration and have some awareness of what Information Security is.

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive attitude
  • Team player who takes initiative and ownership

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and certifications (ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS).
  • Experience influencing technical teams and using security tools.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity trends and best practices.
  • Understanding of AI prompt use and scripting.
