Working as a HR Assistant, you will provide exceptional front line administrative support to all internal and external customers. You’ll be able to handle high volume administrative and transactional activities related to employee on/off boarding, leave management, HR compliance and records management and retention. You’ll work to ensure that all employee data and payroll are kept accurately and up to date and any ad-hoc requests from the business are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
You will be an exceptional communicator with the confidence to deal with senior leaders in the business as well as ensuring effective communication with other areas of HR. As you will regularly work with sensitive information, an ability to work with tact and discretion at all times is essential. The team you are joining is small so you must be a proactive and enthusiastic team member with a willingness and ability to be flexible to changing demands and priorities.
Given the nature of the role, you must be able to work quickly and efficiently, whilst also maintaining excellent attention to detail. You’ll have involvement in wider HR meetings and should have the confidence to get involved and suggest solutions and improvements. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
