As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide expert technical support for the organisation's Practice Management System, 3e.
This role focuses on leveraging in-depth knowledge of the database, SQL queries, OData, API querying, and XML generation to support projects and assist various departments in data extraction and ingestion. This role also ensures efficient, robust, and scalable financial processes through technical expertise and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems, providing technical guidance and support to the Data department, CIO and Finance departments
- Provide expertise in SQL queries to support the Finance, CIO and Data departments in understanding and extracting/ ingesting relevant data from/ to the financial systems
- Utilise OData and API querying to integrate and retrieve data from systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Create and manage XML generation templates for bulk data uploads into the Finance Systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data standards
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise on database structure and data extraction/ ingestion methods.
- Develop and maintain PowerApps solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience
- Implement and maintain robust data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for financial systems data models and processes
- Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency
- Manage and maintain system printer templates for document generation, using Crystal Reports and/ or 3e Templates, ensuring the templates are accurate, efficient, and meet business requirements
- Facilitate the understanding of finance operational processes and data extraction/reporting requirements, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between finance and technical teams
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, OData, API querying, and XML schema requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of data governance and data protection principles
- Experience with system integrations and technical troubleshooting
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
