At Irwin Mitchell, we’re passionate about empowering our people to deliver outstanding results for our clients and communities. As a Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting growth and supporting our Business Development teams.
You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to identify and support opportunities in various audiences, sectors, and markets. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you’ll support the delivery of planned activities including sponsorships, partnerships, and events.
Your expertise will help us promote our services, develop business plans, and coordinate a range of business development activities—from organising events and networking opportunities to preparing proposals and supporting award submissions.
Key Responsibilities – You Will Be Supporting:
- Planning and delivery of client events including managing invite lists, coordinating logistics and production of supporting materials, and tracking feedback and supporting follow up
- Identification and cultivation of new business opportunities through research and targeting
- Management and tracking of business development activity and results
- Development and maintenance of marketing materials, including practice area descriptions, partner biographies, and other marketing collateral
- Preparation of directory and ranking submissions
- Preparation and execute of business development plans
- 2+ years of experience in business development or marketing, preferably within the legal sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Experience with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
