Brand Executive (6417)
We’re a national law firm with a local reach. Our legal experts are here for you. Whether it’s personal or business, we understand that everyone’s situation is different. But we’re more than just a law firm – we’re a team of people working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs. Working here you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment.
We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things and make a real difference to our clients and communities.
We're always looking to support our colleagues to work in a way that works best for them and everyone else, including our clients, the business and the regulators. Please speak to a member of our Recruitment and Onboarding team for more information.
Irwin Mitchell has serious growth ambitions and a real opportunity to become the leading voice in the legal sector. While we have a strong heritage in personal injury and medical negligence, we continue to strengthen our position across both business and personal legal services.
As our business grows, so does the importance of our brand. We're looking for a Brand Executive to join our Business Development & Marketing team and support the delivery of brand campaigns, communications activity and brand governance across the firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their marketing career to gain exposure to a broad range of brand and communications activities within a complex and ambitious organisation.
Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you'll provide essential operational and administrative support across a variety of projects, helping to ensure brand activity is delivered smoothly, consistently and on time. You'll support senior colleagues with project coordination, asset management, internal communications and the day-to-day execution of brand initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across brand projects, campaigns and internal communications activity.
- Maintaining and organising brand assets, templates and collateral, ensuring materials are stored, managed and shared in a consistent way.
- Supporting internal communications by assisting with content scheduling, formatting materials and coordinating approval processes.
- Acting as a first point of contact for brand asset requests, helping colleagues access the correct tools, templates and guidance.
- Updating and maintaining brand systems, trackers and records, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with briefing, proofreading and version control of brand and communications materials.
- Supporting the delivery of brand campaigns through effective coordination of timelines, meetings, assets and project updates.
- Helping to ensure brand guidelines are followed by reviewing materials for basic compliance before escalation to senior colleagues.
- Supporting reporting activities by gathering performance information, feedback and usage insights.
- Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and wider Brand team to develop your understanding of brand strategy, tone of voice and governance.
We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and detail-focused individual who is keen to develop their career within brand and communications.
Essential
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Experience within a marketing, brand or communications environment, which may have been gained through a graduate role, placement, internship or similar executive-level position.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with brand and communications materials.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and shared document management systems.
- A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of brand management, tone of voice and internal communications best practice.
- Ability to follow established processes, governance requirements and escalation procedures.
- Experience within a brand, communications or professional services marketing environment.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Confidence to ask questions, seek clarity and raise issues appropriately.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
Desirable
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems or content management platforms.
- 25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.
- Generous and flexible pension schemes.
- Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid)
- Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services.
We also offer a wide range of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace and to make sure you’re fully supported. This includes our Flexible by Choice programme which gives our colleagues more choice over a hybrid way of working subject to role, team and client requirements.
We have been ranked in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing for Large Organisations for 2024!
Our responsible business programmes are fundamental to who we are and our purpose. We’re committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish, and we have established a number of inclusion network groups across our business to support this aim.
Our commitment to Social Responsibility, community investment activity and tackling climate change is a fundamental part of who we are. It’s made up of four strands: Our People, Our Community, Our Environment and Our Pro Bono.
As part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s on-boarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process. This process helps to ensure that all new employees meet our standards in relation to honesty and integrity therefore protecting the interests of the Group, colleagues, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
We carry out pre employment screening to establish your eligibility to work in the UK, criminal record and financial checks with our trusted 3rd parties.
