Your Role

You’ll work with the centralised billing team to provide administrative support to assist with all aspects of billing and housekeeping, contributing to the aim of achieving department financial targets and ensuring financial compliance. You’ll be providing specialist support to the Public Law and Human Rights Department and deliver a quality service to the department’s case handlers to ensure bills are processed, paid and matters are closed in a timely manner.

Your role will include but is not limited to the following tasks:

  • Ensuring bills are processed, sent and chased in order to hit targets and reduce aged debt.
  • Ensure files are handled correctly, and balances are cleared and files are closed and archived in a timely manner
  • Following agreed processes, departmental guidelines and policies.
  • Ensuring both regulatory & IM standards are met and proactively manage risk through progressing files
  • Be a role model and demonstrate IM Values consistently and engage in making IM a great place to work
  • Consistently participating in continuous personal development
