Associate/Senior Associate - Property Litigation (4072)

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Real Estate Disputes team based from our Leeds or Sheffield office, you can expect to develop your knowledge and expertise working as part of a successful team in one of the UK‘s leading law firms. 

The team are known for their work in the Real Estate sector, specifically working on commercial and residential real estate disputes/property litigation, with a particular focus on commercial and residential landlord and tenant litigation.  They act for investors, developers, retailers and corporate occupiers managing their national property portfolios.

As a Senior Assoicate in our Real Estate Disputes team, you will support the Partners with the continued development and growth of this successful team. You’ll have the opportunity to lead on high value and complex cases which include; asset management for investors, one off contractual dispute for developers, working in collaboration with the insolvency team, advising on option disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, trespass actions, etc. You will also supervise and develop the careers of the junior members of the team.

About You

 We're looking for a technically sound Associate/Senior Associate who has a passion for Real Estate Disputes, our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Qualified via traditional SRA route or CILEX with 4 years PQE minimum;
  • Demonstrable experience supervising more junior members of the team;
  • The ability to manage caseloads whilst maintaining attention to detail and a seamless service;
  • Demonstratable technical experience gained within Commerical Real Estate and/or Property Litigation;
  • An aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationships;
