Your Role

As an analyst working within the General Counsel team, you will develop a broad range of skills so you can provide straightforward compliance advice and resolution to the business, ensuring that the firm is able to meet its regulatory and legal obligations.


It is a varied role and you will develop a broad range of knowledge and expertise. The core area your will primarily work on is Client Matter Inception with potential to develop a broader range of skills in Client Care & Resolution and Data Protection in the role.


What you’ll be doing

  • Resolving straight forward compliance quires on a daily basis with limited supervision
  • Identifying and reporting any potential compliance or reputational concerns to the relevant person
  • Responding to compliance requests in relation to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and related issues
  • Responsible for completing conflicts clearance checks and analysis for new business
  • Supporting on basic data subject access requests
  • Undertaking legal and regulatory research

What we’re looking for

  • A team player who is willing to get involved, learn new things and support our team to achieve its objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Being comfortable working under pressure and be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times.
  • You needn’t have a legal qualification but you will be educated to degree level or have experience of working in the legal or compliance area.
