Job description

Administrator (1045)

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our Court of Protection team in the Bristol office.

As an Administrator in our busy Bristol office, you’ll ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes. By providing excellent administration support, you’ll help our solicitors and paralegals to really focus on our clients.

Practical experience of a similar role would be an advantage although previous experience is not essential because full training will be provided. Whilst some of your tasks may be repetitive, the ability to make a difference to our solicitors and clients makes this an extremely important role. The role will also have the opportunity for some client contact. The role would therefore suit someone who has a genuine interest in helping our clients receive an exceptional service

Responsibilities and Criteria:
• main duties: electronic filing, manual filing, faxing, photocopying, preparation of bundles, opening and closing files on computer databases, contacting clients by telephone to arrange appointments and take basic instructions
• excellent attention to detail
• confidence in liaising with senior colleagues regarding requests
• accuracy and efficiency
• good standard of education including 5 GCSEs/O Level at Grade C or above (to include English and Mathematics)
• good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems would be an advantage.
• Basic casework duties and client contact

If you’re a self-motivated administrator looking for an important role, or a school/college leaver looking for your first position then we’d like to hear from you.

The Benefits

In addition to your basic salary we have a competitive benefits package including pension, critical illness cover, health cash plan, death in service, discounted legal services, 25 days hols (this increases with length of service), discounted online shopping, discounted gym memberships and season ticket loans.

Additional Information

As part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s on-boarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process.
