The Role

As an Administrator in one of our busy offices you will work collectively with all other members of the support team to fulfil the overall needs of the business and ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes. By providing a high level of administration you will help our solicitors really focus on our clients.

Ideally candidates should possess practical experience within a similar role, however full training will be provided. Whilst some of your tasks may be repetitive, the ability to make a difference to our solicitors and clients makes this an extremely important role. The role would therefore suit someone who has a genuine interest in helping our clients receive an exceptional service at the time when they need it most and develop a career within an administrative support role.

Responsibilities:

  • Filing, faxing, scanning documents internally and attaching to case management system
  • Maintaining the filing system. Ensuring all files are kept up to date at all times.
  • Archiving and retrieving files and from storage as required
  • Opening and closing files both paper and electronic
  • Submitting team expenses
  • Maintaining stationery stock levels
  • Copying documents for bundles, including pagination and indexing
  • Arranging for disbursements to be scanned to accounts and added to the billing system.
  • Faxing, printing or scanning as required by the department
  • Arranging travel and accommodation through the internal travel desk.
  • Arranging internal room bookingsIf you’re a self-motivated and confident administrator looking for an important role then we’d like to hear from you.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, maintaining accuracy and efficiency with all tasks. Confidence in liaising with senior colleagues regarding requests is key for this role. Good standard of education including 5 GCSEs/O Level at Grade C or above (to include English and Mathematics) is ideal and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems would be an advantage.
