To be eligible to apply as an internal candidate, you must:

  • Be rated at ‘Achieved high expectations’ (or above) in your most recent year-end review
  • Discuss your application with your line manager and obtain their approval before applying
  • Not be on a Performance Improvement Plan or have any performance concerns
  • Not be in your probation period at the time of applying
  • Remain employed by the firm until your final training contract offer, including your start date, has been confirmed.

Please note: Internal candidates are assessed through a different recruitment process to external candidates. If your employment with the firm ends at any stage during the recruitment process, you must notify the Early Careers team immediately. Your application will be transferred to the external recruitment process and you may be required to complete any outstanding recruitment stages, including an Insight Day and final stage assessment. Your application will then be considered alongside the external candidate pool and in line with the external recruitment process and available vacancies.
