You’ll be joining Laura Daly who is the Lead Partner for West Midlands and a Partner in the Medical Negligence team. Laura’s clients range from those with serious brain injuries such as cerebral palsy, families of Deceased patients (including those who have died due to preventable suicides), patients who have suffered delays in diagnosis of cancer, and patients who have suffered significant orthopaedic injuries such as amputations.

As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. You’ll be involved in:

• Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
• Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.
• Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality service.

We’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with genuine empathy:

• 2-5 years PQE in Clinical Negligence, with a strong background in Claimant work.
• Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims.
• The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice.
• Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases.
• The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
