Procurement Enablement Manager (6281)
The Procurement Enablement Manager is responsible for enabling the effective adoption and consistent execution of procurement and supplier management processes across the firm.
This role supports delivery of Procurement and Category management activity through clear guidance, capability building, process optimisation and data insight.
The role acts as the bridge between policy and execution, translating procurement frameworks into practical, business-friendly ways of working. It ensures that Procurement and business stakeholders are equipped to comply with policy, utilise systems effectively and follow standardised processes.
What you’ll be doing
Enablement & Adoption
- Drive adoption of procurement policies, processes and systems across sourcing and onboarding activity
- Provide clear, business-facing guidance on “how to” follow procurement processes
- Act as first point of contact for queries relating to procurement process, tools and standards
- Identify and address barriers to adoption, improving compliance and user experience
Capability Development & Training
- Design and deliver training for Procurement and business stakeholders on sourcing, onboarding and supplier management
- Develop and maintain enablement content including guides, templates, playbooks and Procurement Hub materials
- Support capability development across the Procurement team
- Promote consistent application of best practice
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support the optimisation of end-to-end procurement processes, focusing on simplicity, efficiency and control
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate implementation of process improvements and change initiatives
- Ensure processes remain aligned to procurement policy and regulatory requirements
Data, Reporting & Insight
- Produce and maintain MI on process adoption, compliance and performance
- Track key operational KPIs (e.g. intake, cycle times, adherence to process)
- Provide insight to Procurement leadership on trends, gaps and improvement areas
- Support data accuracy and consistency across procurement systems
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Delivery
- Build strong working relationships across Procurement, Finance, Legal (IHL), Risk and business teams
- Support rollout of new processes, tools and initiatives through structured communication and engagement
- Act as a change champion for Procurement transformation activity
- Coordinate enablement activity aligned to implementation and continuous improvement priorities
Essential experience and skills
- Understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, with a focus on sourcing and supplier onboarding activities
- Ability to develop and deliver clear process guidance, training and enablement materials
- Experience supporting process adoption and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience working with procurement systems, workflows and data to support effective process execution
- Ability to analyse and interpret operational data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Strong organisational capability to coordinate multiple activities and support delivery across teams
Sector / Technical knowledge
- Understanding of operating within a regulated environment, including the importance of auditability, documentation and control adherence in procurement processes
- Awareness of third-party risk considerations during supplier onboarding, including due diligence, data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Familiarity with contract and supplier governance concepts relevant to onboarding and lifecycle management
- Understanding of business continuity and critical supplier considerations as they impact procurement processes
- Awareness of responsible sourcing and ESG considerations in supplier selection and management
