We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Serious Injury (SI) team in London, supporting a varied and rewarding caseload.

This bespoke approach makes a real difference to people whose lives have been turned upside down by injury.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing legal support to qualified Case Handlers across a range of serious injury cases.
• Managing client queries promptly, efficiently, and with empathy.
• Progressing casework independently, under appropriate supervision, while working collaboratively within the wider team.
• Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders in person, by telephone, and in writing.
• Arranging meetings, obtaining medical reports, and following up on outstanding information with sensitivity and professionalism.

Essential criteria 

• Previous experience working as a Paralegal or in a comparable legal support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with clients and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrable ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload, progressing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently using initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Experience of providing high-quality client service, including supporting individuals who may be experiencing challenging or sensitive circumstances.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, medical professionals, and other external organisations.

Desirable criteria

• Experience working within a Serious Injury, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, or claimant litigation environment.
• Experience liaising with medical experts and obtaining medical records or reports.
• Understanding of the rehabilitation-focused approach to supporting clients following a serious injury.
