As a Paralegal in our Medical Negligence team, you will join Leena Savjani and her team, playing a key role in supporting complex, high-value claims while delivering an excellent client experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of medical negligence matters, working closely with clients, medical experts, and Counsel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the investigation of claims, including obtaining, reviewing, and organising medical records and other key evidence.
  • Liaising both verbally and in writing with medical experts, Counsel and other third parties, and supporting the organisation of conferences and meetings.
  • Preparing documentation to support litigation processes, including court bundles and instructions to Counsel.
  • Assisting with hearing preparation and, where appropriate, attending court hearings and conferences.
  • Maintaining accurate case management records, time recording and supporting the achievement of team financial and performance targets.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to team objectives, sharing knowledge, and supporting a positive team culture.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in medical negligence law and practice, undertaking relevant training as required.
  • Supporting wider business development and client engagement activities, where appropriate.
