Income Pipeline and Forecasting Manager (6445)

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for an Income Pipeline & Forecasting Manager to join our Commercial Finance team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and enhance how we forecast future income performance across our Personal Injury and Medical Negligence businesses, creating greater visibility, confidence and insight for operational and financial leaders.  

Your Role

Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, you'll lead the development and continuous improvement of our income forecasting and pipeline visibility capability.

Working closely with Finance, Analytics, Regional Heads and operational teams, you'll bring together financial, operational and case-level data to create a more accurate and forward-looking view of future revenue performance. You'll play a key role in improving forecasting accuracy, identifying risks and opportunities, and helping leaders make informed commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery and ongoing development of matter-level pipeline visibility reporting.
  • Establishing a repeatable monthly forecasting and pipeline review process.
  • Bringing together multiple data sources and operational insights to improve forecast confidence.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify income risks, opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Supporting improvements in data quality and consistency across teams.
  • Collaborating with Commercial Analytics and Data teams to develop and test forecasting methodologies.
  • Translating complex analysis into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Driving engagement and adoption of forecasting processes across the business.
  • Managing delivery plans, dependencies and risks to ensure successful implementation.
About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll be comfortable working with complex datasets, influencing senior stakeholders and driving improvements in processes and ways of working.

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience in financial forecasting, performance reporting, pipeline analysis or commercial finance business partnering.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
  • Experience managing recurring reporting or forecasting processes across multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of income, revenue, fees, costs or similar commercial finance measures.
  • The ability to work effectively with incomplete or evolving datasets and make sound judgements.
  • Experience working alongside analytics and data teams to improve reporting and forecasting capability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Power BI or working with data platform/lakehouse projects.
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury, Medical Negligence or legal case progression.
  • Experience of data quality, governance or reporting improvement initiatives.
  • Experience presenting insights to senior leadership audiences.
