Administrator (6199)
The Court of Protection is the judicial body responsible for safeguarding the finances and affairs of individuals who lack the mental capacity to manage them themselves. As one of the UK’s leading firms of solicitors, we have a dedicated team specialising in this sensitive and important area of law.
We support clients who:
- Manage someone else’s affairs
- Are concerned about another person’s ability to manage their own affairs
- Worry about their own capacity to manage their affairs
Our work is both vital and life-changing, and we pride ourselves on delivering it with care, professionalism, and integrity.
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth case progression by providing excellent paper-based and digital administration support. Your work will enable our case handlers to focus on what matters most – our clients.
This is a hybrid role where office attendance is required 3 days per week
Responsibilities include:
- Managing documents and files: printing, scanning, uploading, archiving, e-filing, and maintaining case records
- Keeping systems up to date: ensuring case management databases are accurate and compliant
- Handling data and correspondence: collecting information, managing inboxes and incoming tasks via Microsoft power apps and prioritising tasks to meet service levels
- Liaising with external parties: resolving queries and gathering information when needed
- Supporting team operations: managing post and other administrative tasks across multiple office locations and assisting with ad-hoc duties
- File opening
We are looking for someone who brings not just skills, but the right attitude and values.
- Administrative experience is essential to accommodate the fixed term contract requirements
- Empathy and compassion to support clients through challenging circumstances
- A friendly, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
- Confidence with both paper-based and digital document handling
- Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We're proud of our values, and we're looking for people who share them
